When I started using del.icio.us, I thought using a script to post my daily links to a draft post in WordPress was a good idea. The script would run at midnight, I’d come in the next morning, take a quick look, and then post the links. Unfortunately, I found two things happening. One, I was starting to get annoyed by some of the blogs I read that had more links posts than real posts. I definitely did not want my blog to turn into a link blog. Second, I’ve started to use del.icio.us heavily for all my bookmarking and research. This has caused the link posting script to not be as useful as it once was since I have to now manually review all the links for relevance to this blog. So, they’re gone. If anyone liked the links I was posting, they can still be found at http://del.icio.us/tmarkiewicz with RSS feeds down to a tag level available.

Great decision. I am one of the folks who don’t like getting daily links.
